You are probably familiar with aloe vera as an ingredient to many household and beauty products, and as far as internal head pain is concerned, not even once was this plant used to treat headache or migraine — at least in your memory.
According to naturopathic expert, Dr. Mark Stengler, aloe vera juice has anti-inflammatory properties that help ease sore muscles. This in particular, makes the organic beverage a possible alternative to over-the-counter drugs that relieve tension headaches.
An ounce or two of aloe vera juice may help decrease the frequency and intensity of your headache attacks. However, please do take note that this beverage isn’t as delectable as your favorite fruity shake. Also, before including aloe vera juice in your diet, seek first your physician’s approval to be sure that this food supplement won’t render harmful side effects on you such as allergic reactions, liver dysfunction, among others.
